I have yours of Nov. 17th in regard to settlements made
with the estates 0£ the victims of the explosions March 28th, 1908.

to date 42 settlements have been made.

I enolose herewith copy

of a letter written to Judge Lacey November 20th gi-ving him a correct
statement of the settlements made to date with persons killed in each
the first and second explsoions,_ and those with whom settlements have

not _as. yet been made, being 17 in number, and I also enol ose fr1pression copies of the release vouchers in tho following cases which I
