I listened to th0 testimony of the workm z.n, and to the testimony of Doctors Lauzer and 't'anm~r , and coul d d:i.scover but little, if any, defect in his hearing. The fact of the matter is he could he~r what ~ms said to him better than I could heer the questions. Bllt this is not the issue. I do not believe that there are any grounds upon \·,h1ch the judgment of the Court can be reversed, chieny because of the attitude of the Supreme Court of myoming in recent cases brought before it. What occurs to me is this, by granting ~800 .. 00 to this ~orkman on account of his clairn thet his he~ring has been affected f;rom the slight injury rnich he- received, the court must have found that . the testimony of Vice-President Albert Roberts u2s true, and Albert Roberts• testimony is nABSOLUTELYn Steve Smith is a dangerous man to be .e mployed in the. mine. I hope I am not going beyond my sphere as an .attorney, but I think that I' would be a poor legal representative i:r this s:ttuation v,,ere not called to the attention of the head officials of' the operators.
